I want to keep it for back up but it has always been the computer from Heck.

If only you and dead people can read hex, how many people can read hex?
That sounds like a non linear question...
I read hex, binary and octal, ascii, ebcdic, bcd, and cheap novels...chicks go crazy over that stuff, you know.

Well, to erase the hard disk of a computer--I recommend this (can be burned to a CD, or download a floppy image)
http://dban.sourceforge.net
Offers several medium and a couple of high-security ways of wiping the disk clean (e.g. RCMP and US DoD standards).

(Heck is a suburb of Hell with a better school system and nicer yards)No it's not.
It only looks that way from the other side of the fence.

Thanks!
If I have to redo this computer and it looks like I will have to I will use this program.

Down The Road
Im setting up some real estate,
For a special breed of folks,
The kind who think the rest are all,
Somewhat pathetic jokes.
The sort of person who,
Just wants to be left alone.
And who can get on fine if he,
Is stuck out on his own.
Im talking about curmudgeons,
A classless sort of class.
The ones who, when you try to help,
Tell you to ... take a pass.*
They arent the devilish kind of folks,
Nor angels, you can tell,
They dont get on with people types,
But they dont belong in Hell.
So Im setting up a place nearby,
The climates not so good.
But the understanding is,
Its for the misunderstood.
Theyll have their books, and poetry,
And other things they like,
And prominently stated in the yard,
The sentiment, Take a Hike!
They like to be alone, you see,
And theyre content with that,
So if you have a nominee,
Then you can pass the hat.
Well solve a problem in this way,
And another thing thats swell,
Is if some lost souls ventured by,
Theyd be told ... directions well.*

I saw a guy on a Harley. The back of his jacket read, "If you can read this, the b*tch fell off!"
You can get better mileage with attitude.

You'll have to either burn the CD image or copy it to a floppy.
Boot off it and away you go...8^)

Check out the termites in the books you were reading.
They were munching away, so they weren't that quiet.
