I've been having trouble sleeping.
So I'm up at the moment.
Gonna make some tea, "constant Comment".
Sound like a plan to you?

Yes, that would be skeery.
Especially with Gronk loose here somewhere.

I don't sleep much, either. Tea does sound good, but it's too warm here for hot drinks.

"... it's too warm here for hot drinks." Pish-tosh. It's never too warm for hot drinks.
Pure psychology. There isn't enough caloric energy in a cup of tea to warm you perceptibly. Now, if you put sugar in it ... then it has energy.

I admit it, I secretly watch you fiddle with numbers.
Because I'm so bad at it, I find it fascinating.

We are in the middle of three days of rain here, and it is cooler.
*sigh*

But if it's cold, it uses up more calories.
Alas...I always drink things very hot.

Hi 'Face.
(I thought you were sleeping.)

Pure psychology. There isn't enough caloric energy in a cup of tea to warm you perceptibly. When I'm hot, I like to cool myself off... not warm myself up. Water with lots of ice is nice.

I like a hot drink on a cool day, and a cool drink on a hot day, but I recognise the psychology of it.
Us coffee drinkers won't give up the cup in the morning, no matter how hot it gets. But the heat in the cup, or not, won't really affect your body temperature. Do the math.

I admit it, I secretly watch you fiddle with numbers. So that's why I occasionally hear breathing sounds coming from the book stacks.

Well, I'll tell you. After that bracing cup of joe in the morning, being .0008 percent warmer makes all the difference, yaknow?

Understandable.
Though people often wonder at my physiology in the summer when I am standing there with my turtleneck and long sleeve shirts..

I dunno who the breathing sounds are, but I'm the snuffling sounds by the comfy chair.

hahaha! I never said that it would burn of a LOT of calories.
Personally, I even like my WATER hot. It helps me keep my rather round frame.
