"What's noticeable about the NBPP headline is that it tries to inculpate all black Durhamites as supporters of their BS. I seriously doubt that's the case, but it would be nice if some of them would speak up and tell Malik not to include them in their sweeping "Black Community" phrase."

If the sane blacks did that, they would be accused of being "Uncle Toms"--not really black.

I know that, but can't they just deal with that by fighting back for both the principle of truth and the principle of standing on their own without having to conform to what some radical thinks acting "black" requires?

So far, it seems the answer is no, and they remain silent. They must think it's not their problem, but it actually is.
