Blasphemy? Are we back in the Middle Ages? Are we a part of the Muslim world?
It's still blasphemy. The difference is, our society (and you, apparently) have decided that blasphemy against Christianity isn't that big a deal.
You'll remember, however, that blasphemy against Islam is still a huge deal--particularly among liberal media "elites" and academics. Can you name for me the last member of that crowd who trashed Islam in such a public way?

What's more, the left DEFENDED Islamic laws against "blasphemy" and former President Bubba Clinton supported the prosecution of the cartoonists.
