My impression was that at least one of the girls knew the guard at Kroger and that's why she drove there instead of the hospital or PD where she would be detained for information.

In our area, many guards are retired cops. From what I read of the phone calls, there were three people involved in the phone calls.; the guard and two cops.

Have we EVER heard the name of the guard?

Yes, we've heard her name, but I don't remember it.

I have never heard that either woman knew the guard.

The guard is young; clearly not a retired cop.
