LMAO!!!! Go Reba!!
He's like country music's Troy McClure. ;-)
Me (abd hubby) too!! Hey Sunny!!! howyadoon?
Few can. And that's a good thing! ;-)
Let's hope it's like a good election night.
ROTFLMAO!!!
Uh..um.... they are new to the gang world?
This has been our third season watching. We, too, watch as a family.
However, last year my 7 year old, then 6, cried and became very upset when the judges laughed at and criticized the early contestants. Since then and including this year, she wasn't exposed to any of the early shows.
Also, I make sure to sit with the remote control so that I can shut down during the commercials. Why must they show previews and commercials for R-rated movies and adult content dramas during the AI time slot?
LMAO!! OMG. I am reading through this thread crying from laughing so hard.
It's Whatever floats your boat.....etc etc
and as for you being a Talent Agent.....Don't quit your day job! :)
That would fit perfectly in a Seinfeld episode. Remember the AIDS walk when Kramer wouldn't wear the ribbon and a gang of activist beat him up for not wearing it?
I don't know, Taylor took his cheesefest craptacular song and sold it whereas Kat has most people not ever wanting to hear that song again. Talented musicians are able to make really bad songs sound better than they are. That's JMHO of course.
"Seriously, Constantine. Just stop."
Perfect caption for that picture. I saw Constantine on "Idol Tonight" hosted by Kimberly and Rosanna (former Idol contestants) and he was co-hosting. (gag)
He really creeped me out as he made very strange eye movements into the camera and very strange contortions of his whole face! I guess he sang OK during his year on Idol but I didn't watch Idol until this year - was he always this weird?
LMAO!!
"On American Idol?" Nope, Deal or No Deal. Here's your sign.
AI has become a combination of Survivor Island, the American dream come true, and selling ones soul to the Simon.
I remember a quote from somewhere, quite a few years ago, about a talented singer. Paraphrasing, it was that the singer was so good that if he (she?) sang the alphabet, it would be a masterpiece.
The songs were a challenge. Katherine and Tyler had less that perfect songs; it was a chance to see what they could do creatively to make something bland exciting.
That's why the "bad song choice, not my choice" excuses are so bogus. A true Idol would do their best to make it work, and not whine.
That's what I liked about Taylor, Elliott, Kelli, and Paris, all along. No excuses, just respect and gratitude. A few of the second tier also seemed to possess that trait.
It's out now!! Get it, it's great.
You are the one thing I will NOT miss when AI is over this season. you and that "hildebeast" who also spews venom.
This morning in an interview with Brian Kilmeade, fox, Taylor made a comment which I taped and have relistened to several times...he said, "I get to play the harmonica........". I can only assume that he was referring to tonight!
The only person i saw him kiss all night was a guy. Did you notice how they bent over backwards to make jokes about how much Kenny loves women and women love Kenny?
Holy cow. They are lopsided! LOL!!
About the commercials....have you noticed all of the coke glasses and coke bottles and logos? The show has to be careful about becoming too much of a marketplace. It's liked because some really unique talents have found a path to fame; the downside is that it's really about Simon finding someone to control and market.
He's met his match in Taylor, I suspect. But Simon's smart, I'm thinking he would rather have the challenge of Simon than the inconsistancy of Katherine to deal with.
