I am really going to miss Idol now. This is the first season I have ever watched it. My family became addicted. This was the first time in a very long time that there is a show on television that I could look forward to watching with my whole family without fear of what subject they would cover or sex scene they would toss in. Family television what a concept! I totally agree.

I noticed something tonight with Taylor that I hadn't noted before. When he is singing and he can feel that the audience isn't quite thrilled with it...like the last song, his eyes start twinkling and he revs it up a bunch. I noticed that on both slow songs tonight. It was kind of like making a statement, that "hey, this song might now be the best but we'll shine it up for ya!" Good catch. He does know how to work the audience. :)
