Simon: "Sunglasses aside, that was good."Naturally. It's down to money time for Simon and the producers.

I thought she was great, and had fun doing it. If you're going to force her to do Elvis, you are seriously limiting her options.

True. It was peppy.
Paula complimented her dancing. No comment about the song. Weird.

Simon: "You chose a song that not a lot of people are going to know, you came in as the underdog ... but still that was the best performance so far."Now this surprises me coming from Simon.

McPhee's first song
Randy: "You had fun, but what happened in the middle? (she forgot some lyrics)

Paula: "Loved your spin!"
Simon: "It looked like a desperate manic audition. I can sing. I can dance. It was manicky and shrieky. I hope you've got a second better song."
(I have to agree with Simon on this)

I think that's why the panel liked Elliot. It sounded like he had never heard the Elvis version. Reminds me of what he did with Gavin Degraw....I think his changes are brilliant, personally.

No way Simon could call Taylor karaoke and give McTeat a pass. At least he is consistent (sometimes)...
To: retrokitten
She forgot the lyrics?? Didn't she have that problem on another song?
