I'm curious what you will think of when you watch Elliott.

Great night so far - I think all 3 were good in their own way, and different from one another. Taylor-bashers - keep in mind he has a two-song "concert" strategy: one fun dance number, and one sweet soulful ballad. You don't have to buy a ticket to his show, the rest of us will sell it out!

I keep Elvis cd's in the car for my 4yo grandson....he loves Elvis and Roy Orbison....

I like him too! I thought he did awesome... he was definitely nervous at the begining.. but he got so much more comfortable as the song went on. Chris was borrrrrinnng.. taylor was awesome
To: mathluv
I thought Elliott did well.
Just don't like the song as it reminds me of the white-pantsuited, overweight, karate chopping, drug gobbling, Vegas Elvis.
To: Jrabbit
I don't know what Elliot's appeal is, but alot of you seem to think he's got it..
Here comes Kat...I don't like her..much.

Simon: "You chose a song that not a lot of people are going to know, you came in as the underdog ... but still that was the best performance so far."Hope springs eternal..

"Chris was singing Elvis from the Ghetto."
Chris is clearly the most talented singer here, but he did the exact arrangement that Elvis did.
It would be interesting to hear somebody sing "In The Ghetto" tonight. (not)

Can't decide whether to watch the Bird Flu movie or American Idol..... (Can only Tivo one since we're leaving town...)
Of course reading everyone's comments on this thread is almost as good as watching the real thing. :O)

McPhee singing Hound Dog now--it's okay. Looks like she's taken a page from the Taylor Hicks playbook.

SIMON: "Karaoke with a capital K."One would think Simon spends his life in Karaoke bars the way he's always comparing the contestants to Karaoke singers.
