Evening, Wolfstar :)

(McPhee) She was more bubbly, relaxed, poised and outgoing than many of us had thought. She's a chatterbox. She seemed much nicer than she sometimes has seemed on the show. I liked seeing her this way.

That's something that's always annoyed me about her. In the rehearsal clips, she's the way you described--relaxed, easy-going, happy. But get her in front of a live camera and she seems to shut down. She smiles and shakes and does all the things that she's supposed to do, but (to borrow a pet phrase from Simon) it seems a bit robotic.

What do you think, could Randy have picked a more boring song for Taylor than 'You Are So Beautiful'?

Randy has always compared Tay-Tay to Cocker. I don't think he chose that as an insult or a way to mess him up, but rather because he wants to see Taylor work it out.

But, there were other Cocker songs that are much better.

But none as well known or beloved. Taylor will smack this one into San Fran Bay.

I think its a boring song. I never liked it. Much as I like Taylor he is going to have a hard time selling that song to me.

"Many millions of people loved the 09's alt-rock scene in the 90's"

No, they didn't.

G'evening, Jonny. In the interview this a.m., Katharine said that eventually she wants to act in films. If so, she's going to have to get over that tendency to freeze in front of the camera. She really was much more personable and, frankly, delightful this morning.

Haven't had a chance to see all the song choices. That one is sort of blah, but I think it suits Taylor's voice.

Such is the life of whoever wins this thing. They get to sing the songs hand picked for the by TPTB.

Too bad, so sad... ;-)

Now if that was a 1975 Cincinnati Red's team ball, you'd have something to cry about...too bad.

"Katharine was on Good Day L.A. this morning (Fox). All of the contestants who get voted off are interviewed on that show the day after, and most of them are exactly as we see them on the show. Katharine wasn't.

She was more bubbly, relaxed, poised and outgoing than many of us had thought. She's a chatterbox. She seemed much nicer than she sometimes has seemed on the show. I liked seeing her this way.

All in all, it was a fun, bubbly, chatty interview"

Kat's taken a bit of bum's rush from some of the also-rans on this board, who cannot countenance the fact that she is both easy on the ears and easy on the eyes.

That she is also a sweet engaging young lady seems to be completely lost on the roadside nightclub types.

Will all due respect, Fawn, Chris is not going to come back as a contestant no matter what. I doubt he'd want to now that he got that great offer from Fuel. He'll be free to pursue that and other offers after the summer AI tour. Why would you want to take that away from him?

"He had a luncheon from Fox tv station here. Mayor of Richmond, Doug Wilder was there"

Show biz has its up and downs.

Actually I met then-Gov.Wilder at a Skins game at RFK several years ago, and he was a perfect gentlemen.
