Wouldn't/couldn't come out and say who should have gone home last night but it was obviously that he thought that Kat should have left.
Also thought Elliott would be the most fitting to win from the live changing circumstances and that he would best embody what the spirit of what Idol is supposed to be.
I had to laugh when he talked about himself...
Song writer
Jam sessions
Wanted to show dance moves.
Alternative rock--right in line with Chris' style. So is Fuel. I believe Chris sang their song "Hemorrhage" in the semi-finals and Simon said it was the only performance that night that would stand up in the real world. And he was right.
Can't argue with that.
Taylor could sing the National Anthem for the Yankee's first play-off game!
If' he's not available, maybe Katharine can do it in tight pinstripes!
I used to own it on cassette tape--I always hit the rewind button at the end of "I Alone" so I could hear it again :)
shelly fabarey? hell, i don't know what you were talking about....i figured since you mentioned being married to a liberal (mike farrell) that's who you were talking about...and after all the heat us "old fogies" took last night from you know who, I just couldnt' resist!
and hopefully look better - i've NEVER had any plastic surgeon working on me....but now that my niece has decided she wants to be come a plastic surgeon I may need to rethink this....
Oh! Sorry, I completely spaced out on that name--I didn't know who you were talking about. "Shelly? Who's Shelly?" LOL
Oh, then that would explain why I hadn't heard that song before....LOL
Being a hugh Chris fan, I want him to do well...and I hope he doesn't jump at the first offer, just because he is so disappointed about AI.
It will be interesting to follow the careers of whoever wins AI and Chris over the next 5 years or so...
BUT, do you know if he is free to sign a deal...or does he have to wait until the end of the season???
To me...that would be a lousy deal...telling the "losers" that they have to hang around even though they have offers.
I would buy a ticket (and airfare) for opening night if Taylor sang....but never would I pay a dime to see Kat...I'm just not excited about her....oh yeah, that's right - it's not her voice you guys are so hot about! and crap, the yankees are out in the bottom of the 8th leaving Bernie on base....boo hiss....BoSox 4 - Yanks 3
Chris did a great cover of that Fuel song. However, why are people talking about Live offering him a job? Did the lead singer leave the band?
Will she give you a discount? :)
well was i right then? Was that who you were talking about? I cannot believe that two days after AI and one day after the "kick off" show this thread is still going strong....I'm becoming addicted - I NEED TO GO TO BED! (and yeah I know, I am addicted)
Never heard of Fuel except for the type approaching $4 a gallon.
When did they clinch?
I just got done listening to the Nats give up three runs in the bottom of the eleventh in Cincy to lose 5-4.
she'd better....does anybody know (or has it been posted earlier and I didn't see it) what next week's theme is?
Let's hope Rivera can hold them to 4 so Damon can slam in the winning run. That would be sweet justice!!
I heard Matsui is out with a broken wrist. Oh well...he hasn't done well this season anyway. Kind of like Katharine's performances the past 2 weeks.
Nineties were a lousy decade for rock? Hmmm, don't care for the Seattle influence like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, or Soundgarden? What about Stone Temple Pilots? Live was good, Tool, Chili Peppers did some good stuff during that decade, Jane's Addiction was good...
"Never heard of Fuel except for the type approaching $4 a gallon."
LOL...and I thought I was the only one!
If I were Chris I'd hold of on any offers. I have a feeling he's going to get plenty.
Nice segue back to the subject! LOL!
