I'm a skeptic, but this does sound cheesy:

Cheesy but true. Researchers at Laurentian University in Sudbury exposed test subjects to the kind of EM that is created by seismic activity. The tests consisted of leaving them alone in a room and exposing them to EM; it was a relaxed setting and most of them slept through it. Nearly all of them reported, in vivid detail, being abducted by aliens and subjected to gruesome medical procedures.

So how and why do these "plasma fields", occur in one's bedroom in the middle of the night or out in some hay-field in Texas.

Sorry....don't buy the explanation!
