Apparently she was in front of the house or at least within shouting distance. After the call didn't she shout at the players that she'd called the cops.

If we believe the photo times and the AV was put into the car at 12:41... what were they doing until 12:53 and why was Kim out of the car again when the cab driver drove up... I think she called after she left..

I have said that (theory here) the players had left and locked the women out of the house. There are reports the women were locked out of the house.

I think the women were trying to get back in for their pocketbook, cell phone, etc. Crystal needed her cell phone to call for a ride, possibily.

Remember, Kim says in a 911 call. We were walking by - now I'm driving by - and then I'm SITTING right in front looking at it now.

The girls were upset they couldn't get in and they probably tried to enter (as reported) and then may have drove by to see if the players reappeared. When it was apparent Kim was stuck with Crystal, in anger, she calls 911.
