Good Morning Everyone. WOW was that a hail of a storm last night. The ice balls were about the size of nickels, the wind blew bloody blazes and the lightning put on a wonderful show. The storm lasted about 20 minutes. This morning all looks calm as can be as if nothing happened last night. After awahile I'm going to check my little garden and see how much if any damage was done. I found out what has been happening to my bean plants, BIRDS have been attacking the leave and eating the stems. A farmer's wife told me birds love bean plants, so I'm going to get a couple of pvc pipes and stretch some cheese cloth over it, to protect my beans from those attacking birds. lol

Bill O'Reilly is going to have John Kerry on his program??? Gads, why? One reason I seldom watch his program. This will probably end up with Bill shouting and skerry mumbling his asinine monologue. Ick.

I hope your garden made it through the storm okay, till. It's beautiful right now here but we're due for some doozies of storms tonight. And it's lady's night tonight; we're going to a local artist's parlor and then a new and very fancy restaurant run by an award winning chef.

You could go down to Lowes and buy either bird netting or deer netting and stretch that over the pvc pipes. I think they're really the same item but deer netting is sold in longer and wider amounts. It has the advantage of letting in copious amounts of sunlight and water but keeping unwanted varmints out. We're using it over our blueberries.

I'm glad you were okay last night. I'm hoping the garden doesn't have too much damage.
