Good Morning Chair. Thanks for getting us started. This darned Mumps thing is spreading like crazy. I have a young associate who is a pre law student at Drake. Officials are expecting a major outbreak on the Drake campus (Des Moines) within the next 10 days, during finals week.

4 students there have been officially diagnosed.

I have a document from the Iowa Dept of Health in my email, but it's full of charts and graphs, and I'm almost certain they won't print correctly if I copy and paste. If anyone is interested in it, freepmail me your email addy and I can forward it to you.

It's frosty here this morning. It looks like we'll be wearing sweatshirts today.

A GOOD A.M. TO YOU HONORABLE CHAIR FROM THE 'GETTING FIXED' MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST, USA, BRUISED BUT NOT BROKEN!!!!

Can you believe this? for the forth time in two weeks folks from FEMA has been out here to check the trailers, read the bar codes TWICE, different people. at 50 bucks a visit, you tax dollars(s) at work.

Hurricane season coming upon us and FEMA tell us do not try to move the travel trailer, CALL THEM FOR TRANSPORTATION!!
We might be pretty dumb down here on certain things but 1, who would want to move a trailer. 2, FEMA'S claim to fame is to have one phone line with a 800 # that is answered in India or some other place. This is a laugh. I worry a bout the trailers coming unhitched and slamming into homes, causing much damage to the homes. Oh well, life is life ya know.

Just put my rain suit back in storage, two days of rain, much needed rain at that. More to come today and again Friday (I hope).

Ya know, the high lite of my day when I wake up every day is to get on this ole computer and see that all are well and chating. It really gives me pleasure, perhaps most important thing I do all day. None of you will ever know what each of you rally mean to me and the best cyber space friends in the world.

Oh, SIL got Allies above ground pool up and filled yesterday,. right out my front door, oh boy, oh boy, hope D limits swimming to daylight hours only, if she doesn't, I will (not really).

Think I will go to the 'big house' and drink a cup of some kind of coffee from some unknown land, most likely the beans were picked at 3 AM, stored in a special secret room, in other words, I will drink just one up cause I simply do no like this 'special' coffee.
