After some busy days last week, I can focus on Leakgate...Limbaugh was adament on the points in the case yesterday, and got me to thinking...

During the Vietnam War, I had TOp Secret clearance for the work I was doing as a civilian working for the Army overseas...

Now I was growing increasingly disenchanted with the way the Nixon Administration was handling the war...not from the Left, but from the Right: negotiating with the Communists, and so forth, to end the war...

So would that have justified me breaking the law and the trust of the American people???? I don't think so!!!

That action was NOT my call....not heroic, or in any way praiseworthy or commendable...

Gonna plant some climbing Ivy in my crab traps today, if they take off they are going to look real neat, Two of them have oysters shells attached to them. I want to try some of this Miracle Grow potting soil and see if that help them. Has anyone out there ever tried this stuff?? What do you think....Does it work??

I think if I had plans to go to Aruba I would change my mind, their police department is like the keystone cops. I don't mean to be unkind or mean but I am getting a little tired of all that coverage on the case.

I have some serious thoughts on the so called rape case at Duke. True 'ladies of the evening' can and have been raped but this case looks like it has lots of holes. looks political to me. No DNA? The DNA that DOES exists is NOT from ANY of the La-Cross players. What is so sad is some, even though they might be spoiled brats, might get jail time on 'he said, she said' evidence. Sounds. from her daddy she might not go thru with the case, she has a paid college tuition (if it is followed on) so she is taken care of. Sounds like some big time stuff is fixin to be revealed on her. Sorry, Just me, AI guess the police is coming out in me.

SUPPOSE to rain this afternoon AND maybe tomorrow as well. I can not tell you how badly we need it, only 13" since the hurricane.

Put my two strand electric fence around my garden, saw a chicken (M Albright)) hit it this morning and she has not stopped yelling yet. She took off running and think she is STILL running.

SIL putting up a above ground pool for GD and a small beech for D with sand from the sand beech in Long Beech. Sheesh, got a lot to look forward to with all those kids that are going to be out there. Oh, it is close to my
'shack in the back'. I look at it this way, they are trying to PUNISH me, just kidding of course.

Here is hoping that all have a good day, a safe one, a happy one and a 'well' day. Please pray for OUR President W as he has had the whole world jump on hit shoulders.
