We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
The bombings in Dahab appear to have been targeted at westerners, possibly coupled to The Evil One's taped message. Among the 23 dead, there were 20 Egyptians.
President Bush has ordered an investigation into whether gas prices have been illegally manipulated in recent weeks.
Israel has called Iran the "worst threat to Jews since Hitler."
A man in Hayward, CA, was rescued from a chimney in which he was stuck, totally naked. He had locked himself out of the house and decided to get in through the chimney, stripping his clothes off because, he says, it would reduce the friction. Police have arrested the man on suspicions of being under the influence of drugs.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
Absolutely, John! The most important prayer request of all!
I am HOME. I have vacated my undisclosed location, temporarily.
It is really 'cold' (for this time of year) here tonite. It was about 40 degrees when I pulled in the driveway.
Prayers lifted for your situation. And the situation of the old frenchman.
This is always difficult seeing someone you care about die w/o the Lord. AND always rewarding to see the unsaved comearound. Last fall an 80 year old friend of mine became a Christian & was baptized. Talk about the angels doing cartwheels?
crappy here too.. I lugged in again all the tropicals before I left for dinner/movie out. we may/may not have killing frost. I have had some of these babies for 30+ years.
you are welcome Bev
It was a touching email/pix you sent out earlier.. let me know if you want me to "work that up" for your friends here. Could post tomorrow at ATRW
Know this is a difficult time for you in SO many ways.
I wish I carried a Jesuit in my back pocket. I'm just a baptist. I don't argue so well.

On a lighter note, I am hapy to brag that I made blueberry scones FROM SCRATCH tonight, and my husband was ost impressed.
Just the thing with coffee on a cold spring night!
And I've done some really good hand-crafted coffee.
/johnny (On the balance... I'd rather have salvation)
Well, of course I would, too!
I suppose that I'll get a great cuppa when I finally see those pearly gates. Maybe they can use a cook....

I am sincere about keeping the frenchman in my prayers. Good night, John!
Good night!!
I was stitching a very expensive myster sampler. It must have dropped out of my bag a few weeks ago. It mysteriously reappeared today, my male cat was taking a nap on it. And it was not recognizable, shredded beyond recognition.
Well said, kayak.
Ouch! Is the cat now not recognizable, shredded beyond recognition? (just kidding!)
LOL. He got a scolding, that is for sure. But I dropped it and the unwritten rule of the house is if I don't pick it up, then it is fair game. I didn't realize I had dropped it until I went to my stitching group and it wasn't in my bag. I replaced the fabric this evening ($10.45), but the time (3 months of stitching is gone.) Oh well, life goes on. I'm off to bed, talk to you all later.
Bummer about the cat mishap!
I am going to display my ignorance, and ask what a 'myster' quilt is.....
I gave serious consideration to the possibility that you intended to type 'mystery', but on the outside chance you don't have a typo, I need to know about all things quilt.
Good Morning to the Dawn Patrol.
Thunderstorms last night, today, and rain through Friday...if the weather man is right, it means that the grass outside will be as "high as an elephant's eye".
