Perhaps some of the players did engage in a conversation with the police.

We know that some of the players did indeed talk to police, even offered to take lie detector tests and were turned down...

those that lived in the house even provided a list of names of those they could remember attending the party... strange that RS was left off the list... but the idea that they weren't talking to police isn't supported by some evidence...

Actually I was talking only about the very recent visit police made to 2C Edens dormitory around the time the indictments were handed down. There is a third lacrosse player who has not been indicted but was identified with 90% certainty by the AV. It's been reported that the students in Edens dormitory think they know who this third person is. I'm thinking that the reason these students in Edens dormitory know this is because of the questions the police were asking on that recent visit, which reportedly had to do with whether certain players were or were not at the party.
