I'm almost inclined to think that this was a "planned" episode...playoff time for the stripper.

This wasn't planned. She was drunk/high on drugs and on her was to the drunk tank, and didn't want to go, so she said she was raped; not knowing that her story would gain so much attention and then get caught in a web of lies.

If the DA had done his job, or better yet, let the cops do theirs; we wouldn't have even heard abot this case.

I noticed the investigator doing the paperwork has approitmately 5 years on the job.

Kind of a clue no one else wanted to get involved in this turkey.

I also did more detailed search warrants so if it was 'hinky' the judge could refuse to sign it. One always has to remember that you got to work with these people the next day.
I'm of the opinion that DA is running the show, much to the chagrin of the police department.
