Actually the affidavit says the guy held up a broom and said something like "Here, use this" -- I wonder if that was a lacrosse stick and, having never seen one, the stripper thinks it's some sort of broom and tells that to the police. Ya think these guys even own a broom?

I think this is right on the money. Even skanky strippers have feelings. They spend time getting dressed up to look "sexy", they put a little effort into the show but the guys are just bored. The sex toys/broom comment is fairly innocuous but it really says "hey, you aren't sexy, you're pathetic. You suck." The the strippers are offended and comment on "inferior white boy anatomy" and a national scandal is on.
