Ann Coulter is a flame thrower. She's funny and I enjoy reading her, but ultimately a lot of her points are hollow. And as an attorney, she should know that a false charge of rape isn't close to comparable to whether we think these boys are boy scouts or not.

I also want to know where this woman had come from, just before getting to the frat party? Who was she with, what was she doing (besides getting pissed drunk) and when was the last hour she had intercourse.
If it ever gets to trial, these will be questions the defense is going ask.

All that being said, she still chose her profession. If she is smart enough for college, she should be smart enough to be employed as something other than a prostitute.
well you'll excuse us, if we are persuaded that that is the way this is headed, a bit before you. it is unfair for you to characterize those of us outraged by this case, as defending the boys on moral grounds, as far as we are concerned it is irrelevant to the charges here.

She's had a lot of problems with alcohol, according to Rita who has "inside sources". Since she showed up at the party bruised and drunk, and left the same way and perhaps worse, I'd say this is a highly trouble woman who is working at the bottom of the food chain because the hours are easier on her druggie lifestyle and the money is good to support that lifestyle.
It's interesting she chose the two players to ID who come from the most wealthy families, 3 weeks after the faux rape. She is not a credible person, imo, and based on her flimsy testimony young men have had their lacrosse program finished, been suspended from school, other schools have said they don't want them, and some seniors on the team have had their job offers revoked. That's outrageous.

And, when someone makes an accusation, that accusation has to stand up to the actual physical facts of what happened. First of all, hers will not stand up to the actual physical facts.
Secondly, you pointed out that they need to have no motivation to lie. I believe that the lawyers in this case will be able to show, on cross-examination and on the presentation of evidence, that she did have a motive to lie.
ZAHN: So, you can't clarify for us tonight what you think that motivation is, based on the research you have done in her background?
CHESHIRE: No.
And -- and I wouldn't do that. It would be wrong for me to do that at this point in time. We haven't tried to try this case in the public opinion. We have just said that these boys are not guilty, in response to what the prosecutor has done. But those things will come out in court. And, when the public sees her cross-examination, and sees her answers, and finds out about that motivation, it will prove what we have been saying all along. And that is that no rape happened in that house.
