You are right, of course, but my point is that when people are real angry (for good reasons) they don't tend to be very concerned about minor injustices. Count me among such angry people.

My issue is that the anti-Hispanic crowd is hiding within the anti-illegal immigration crowd.

We need to do something about illegal immigration - absolutely.

But I'll be damned if I'm going to be associated with the likes of some folks who are on that side of the debate solely to vent their hatred towards Hispanics.

The WORST thing you can do to a cause is enable it to be associated with shallow racist garbage. Those little "understandable injustices" will KILL your cause.
