We missed you, too, Toby and are glad you're back with us.

We're eager to hear about Allie's reactions to Disney World ...

..... I know it would take a book to write it all but please at least hit the highlights ... :-)

A little cool outside, but a lovely day in spite of it.

I pray you all are having a wonderful day with family and friends.

Hi.. Just been posting on the wrong thread(taking lessons from Rav?)

Hope you are all having a good Easter. It was partially sunny early here but now very overcast & only in mid 40s
,br> That sounds like a good recipe CM.. I maybe starting a diet in near future with little/no eggs. So when I do have them it will be a special recipe I guess. I am not a big egg eater anyway.

Johnny.. I came home from church/dog walk & had/have tremendous headache so my plans to make a big fancy meal turned into "do something easy etc".

I bought a ham steak for mom & sauteed/browned it(already cooked). Instead of a fancy raisin sauce for mom's ham, It was plain.

Boiled one large sweet potato & a couple red skins. . Instead of the brown sugar, nuts, marshmallows on Sweet pot, it was plain w/butter.

And with the red skins. I cut them in 3/4" cubes. And coated with mixture I made of garlic, onion tender in butter. Added seasoned salt, rosemary & pepper. All was pretty good.

But I was pretty hungry as I just had one slice of watermelon before I left for church & had a very rigorous dog walk.

Which takes me to Dog & Guennie.. reading (while on wrong day thread) about the gators in fla & the comment of not to mess with anything that can eat/harm you.

At the end of our walk Toby came racing over a hill toward me & behind him were to large wolfs. I yelled & they quickly turned & took off. It was the first time in my 15 years back that I have seen wolfs. I have seen many coyote & many small red fox (which the dogs chase).

At this point it was only about 1000 feet from a golf tee. and homes on the streets. I was almost back to the church parking lot.

They were about 15 feet behind Toby chasing him. Josy was next to me watching. She had been growling earlier at I didn't know what. Prolly that. Toby had been running hard for a couple hours so he would have been very fatigued to be fighting off two wolfs that were larger than him

Headache is allergies I believe. I have put in an unbelievable amount of meds so far. I have yet to find a climate that is allergy/sinus friendly.

How is it with just you & your "core" family? too peaceful?

HA!

Happy Easter FRiend.

If they are the real ones, you better remember soon, but then again, in a few days you should have very little trouble finding them.

Dolly, the past few days have been a life saver.

I found out that the nieces from Canada are coming next month to visit at her house. She should be enjoying herself there for about 1-2 weeks.

My encounter today with nature was much less stressful (for me)...

When I came over the fence from the frenchman's, a duck started squalking and beating her wings on the ground and acting like I had stomped on her (implied: on purpose) and I was asking myself how I had accidentally stomped on her on purpose, since I was still on the ladder on the frenchman's side of the fence.... and then I heard the peeping of the little ducklings.

Finally, it dawned on me that I didn't actually hurt anything (purposeful, as the duck implied, or accidentally, as I immediatly assumed). And it was just nature, acting natural.

They have moved away from the ladder.

Dog if these United States of America is NOT LOSING a squirmish, it is not reported in the Mass United Communist Media of Amerika. They really give me a pain in the area I place on a chair, including a few who appear on the only semi-conservative media in America, Fox News. I have a had a martini and a coupl-a champaignes, I'll say what I really think.
