Actually, the Bilderburgers leaned on the Tri-Lateral commision to force the Greys into rejecting the Reptillian plan to devalue the price of Gold, so that Elvis and JFK wouldn't find the Secret Nazi Base hidden at the North Pole, where Nicoli Tesla's building the Doomsday device. And stuff.

Yeah, we invaded Iraq for oil.

That's why oil prices are so low.

Ask Ted Kennedy - he'll tell you - if he's sober at the moments.

We invaded so we could get cheap oil.

That is the considered opinion of most - an opinion I don't share.

We invaded because the world had lost its fear of the United States of America. Ever since Vietnam it had become increasingly obvious that America was all blow and no show. We whupped Panama and Granada; big deal. Every other place where we put boots on the ground and got bloody, the press screamed and we crapped our shorts trying to get out as fast as possible. The list is well known in these environs - Somalia being one of the most notable (certainly not the least).

It was getting so that any old terrorist, jihadie or nut case who wanted to take a shot at Ol'Glory could wack away to his or her heart's content without any real fear that a company of marines was going to land on his head. That is a bad state of affairs.

International law - well, there isn't any. The UN is a joke. Even our friends treat and trade with our enemies. The only real recourse is to shoot the suckers right between their beady little eyes. Before Afghanistan, before Iraq; the international community did not believe that we would do squat no matter what was done to us. That belief is no longer operational. When George Bush steps down as POTUS the question which he answered will again be asked:

Does the United States of America have the stomach to do what needs to be done? Right now I don't know what answer a future President might make to that question. Especially if the future POTUS is a democrat in the Gore/Kerry/Clinton tradition.

Seems we invaded to destabilize the Middle East, raise oil prices and increase the profits of oil companies.

Who said anything about cheap oil?

Protecting the US dollar could be a major reason to take out Iraq. Currently, the dollar is backed by a 9 trillion dollar indebted government. Sounds pretty flimsy to me.
