Sounds pretty good. I guess anything is better than having water dripped on your head all night, then having to eat DFAC stuff. The Army (the little I've expirienced) has really crummy DFACs, but the AirForce is slowly winning me back over.
Its good to hear that life is better now than it has been before. Its does sound a great deal better than Alaska.
I've got to go. There is a soccer game comming up that I have to play in. Wish me luck. Good luck holding down the fort.
I believe in prayer.
I believe that a winner is found at the intersection of preparation and opportunity.
Prepare. Seize opportunity.
Go forward, kick tail and take names. ;>)

What's wrong with the Tribe? 6-1! Wow, maybe they will have a team this year...naw.

HA! I told the Air Force is the best. Except that marines are really the hunkiest. Except for you.
You know, with all the illegal immigration (somewhat militant I might add) demonstrations, islamofacists bombings and beheadings, and an opposition party that sides with them both of them, I hope I stay healthy enough to still hump ammo when the time comes.
If Roger Maris got an asterisk, then Barry Bonds should get one too.
I guess everyone knows that Pooty Poot isn't our friend.
Get this, el jefe (castro-lower case on purpose...I was the first one to start that convention with i42. Now everybody does it) plans to drill for oil 45 miles from my state's coast. While our senators and representatives prevent us from drilling 200 miles away. Sure, it's not only FL's congresscritters, it's the Sierra Club, Earth First, etc., and all the other environmental wackos in this country. To all of you environmental wackos (you know who you are): there are oil wells in Everglades national park. (I'll bet ya'all just soiled your collective pants). Heck, there are oil wells in Polk county for goodness sakes. Oh, and go off the east coast, and you will find oil seeping up from the ocean bottom.
Boy, it's sure fun to waste Jim Rob's bandwidth. Oh, speaking of Jim Rob, which one of you pi$$ed in his Wheaties? It sure wasn't me...
I'll bet that this post will kill the thread dead.
Good night Irene...

AF has the best food. Period. Paragraph. Turn a page.
USMC has the best KPs, ever. Amen.
And I feed them accordingly...
If they ever stick us all together for very long... We'll be winning some Cote' de Ore. Promise.

That may not be how things work out, sensi...
I'm a master of saying... WRONG!!!!
Generally, I do it politely. It's my training.

Those tulips are surely beautiful. I have an egyptian iris in bloom, several roses already bloomed out and many, many more buds and my bearded iris should burst forth any day now.
I have decided that next furlough, I am building brick steps and a walk up to the house through the front forest. Just past the steps, I am going to build a fountain. Next furlough. I have a few years to plan and save for it.
Heading to bed now. Good night.
I hate to say this, but whenever I was stationed outside CONUS, the Zoomies had the best food. Even better than the Squids.
And to all my Army KP brothers, sometimes the C rats were preferable...sorry.
INCOMING!

I always enjoy your Notes and Musings so I guess that makes me a Madwoman. :-)
I was very dubious when hubby started talking about getting a digital camera. And then he won one as a door prize at a function held by our parent company. I now think that they are the greatest thing since the proverbial sliced bread. You can just snap away and take a gazillion pictures, just delete the garbage ones, and enhance the good ones to make them even better.
Nope... it was the phone calls. I remember that. ;>)

I won't walk the floor.

At BYU, a gay/lesbian group came to enlighten the students there (they claim that BYU is killing gays through BYU's strict policy of tolerating no homosexual behavior). Yesterday the group staged a die-in on campus. A handful of students saw the die-in, there was more media there than BYU students. One of the cameramen apparently strayed onto BYU private property. BYU security told him to go back to the media area and
When the camerman didn't comply, Jenkins and KUTV News Director Tanya Vea said, security pushed him back to the designated area.LOL, dumb media. Rules are for everyone else, not them.
No big plans for Easter....church Sunday morning and then I will be at the Care Center with Miss Lily and be there to help serve the Easter meal. It is supposed to be rainy here so the Easter Bunny is going to have to hide eggs in people's houses.

Well, I have one eye open.
