We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
An astonishing statement yesterday by Hitlery. She said the immigration bill up for consideration would make her a criminal.
The provision at issue is anyone who knowingly assists or aids in allowing illegal immigrants to stay in the United States.
This is a keeper.
The former First Lady, who desires to be President, who says that she would be tough in the foreign policy arena, who says that we need to secure our borders...
...admits to aiding illegals to stay in America or giving them aid!
All the more reason to pass the legislation!
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

It pays to keep up.
What color for the candles? I was thinking alternating green and blue from table to table....

Oh yes. He knows that by the time he goes back it's going t be brutal over there.
I was surprised at how short his hair is. I haven't seen it this short since boot camp. But he says it really is best, with the heat & all, to have it very short.

Can I encourage them to get married first?Go for it. I was amazed that Herb actually got married before procreating. And now she's married... without procreating... We need grandchildren already!

BTW you can tell he's used to a more..........um..........colorful way of speaking.....................he's already had to catch himself several times, and slipped once or twice.
Oh well, comes with the territory, I guess.:)

I'm not worried. He's a good boy.:)
Actually it's pretty funny watching his verbal contortions as he starts to say something, then realizes he shouldn't be saying that in Mom's living room...........but he knows we're not going to make a big deal out of it.
Good grief, he's home!!! That's all that matters.
............and he got to listen to Dad's story of how he refinished the living room floor just in time for Christmas, and Em's stories about how she hates her job (although she was just named FIRST on her team for quality of customer service based on monitored calls)..........and Uncle Marty told him about how he cared for his (Air Force) uniform back in the day...........and he & Jake bantered about this & that, and when he & I were alone for a minute I asked him "so how the he** are you??" and he said "Great" and looked like he meant it.
It was just family, family, family, and it was a great evening.:)

Your posts today have made me feel just great cause I'm so happy for your family. It also brought back memories of when my son came home on leave. One of the first times he came home from Germany after we hadn't seen him for a year, we went to get him at the airport and everyone waited at our house for us. We had banners across the garage saying "welcome home" and the whole bit and he was a bit embarassed when we came in the driveway but when he saw everyone inside he forgot to be embarassed.
He told me years later how hard it was for him to go back after those leaves.

They do get embarrased, don't they? It's like they don't understand what all the fuss is about; after all, they're just doing their jobs.
Well, we may have embarrassed Ev a little bit at the airport too, with all our hugs and tears and Katie's balloons and flowers and oh yeah, the bag of fresh cheese curds we presented him with.;^)
But I know he appreciated it.

I am. I don't know for how long. It sounds like tonights celebrations were great.
We watched The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe tonight. The book is better and The Book the book is based upon is the best.
