Prayer Request for Co-Worker

I have discovered a co-worker, Linda, who rides the bus with me, has been experiencing symptoms linked to lung cancer. She has to get a CAT-scan for verification.

She has not indicated such, but I am sure she is scared. And I am scared for her.

For the record, Linda smokes. Obviously she should quit.

Please pray that she will find the courage to quit smoking, and that the Lord will wwipe this cancer away, so she can be given a second chance.

Please tell your friend to consult a physician ASAP ~ tell her that her symptoms may well be something other than cancer but something that definitely needs treatment none the less! See: HealthCheck: Lung Disease

I am currently in my sixth week of tests, biopsies and more test for a number of masses found in my lungs >(See: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/1604933/posts and http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/1604933/reply?c=53 for details) complicated by a critical loss of blood I experienced from longterm (and unbeknown) internal bleeding.

I am scheduled for yet another test this Wednesday and am hoping a consultation scheduled for Thursday will provide a preliminary diagnosis and the ability to move forward with treatment ... whatever that treatment may be. (fingers crossed)

I prayer your friend will find strength in this difficult time and will know in her heart that God is with her throughout her good times and bad.
