We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Hopefully, by now, everyone, unless you live in Arizona outside of the Navaho Nation, has moved their clocks ahead one hour. If you haven't, well, you're going to be perpetually behind--and since this is a conservative forum, you'll be hard pressed to catch up!
In Laura Bush's upcoming book, she relates that when given a tour of the White House by Hitlery, she noted that the Lincoln Bedroom looked worn out, that the West Wing decor was gaudy and outdated, and that Hitlery "kept bad house".
Sec'y Rice says that Iraq needs to get a move on in forming its new government, that the United States is tired of all the delays.
The black population in New York (city) decreased in 2004 from what it was in 2000--the first such decline since the Civil War.
Paul Wolfowitz wants to open a World Bank branch office in Iraq.
And other than pointing out that pro-illegal immigrant demonstrations are to crescendo to a maximum on May 1 (yes, there's a schedule!), May Day, that's all that will be said about that in this space today.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
I see Tom Delay is going to resign. This is ominous.
Look what I found at http://news.scotsman.com/international.cfm?id=515372006..........Scotsman interior Designer "Gobsmacked" at Hillary's WH Decor"
LOL! At first I thought it was just the same article, but then I got to the end where the interior decorator gave his review, which was hilarious! They must have shown hom two pictures of rooms during the Clinton era. I particularly loved the phrase, "I always thought the Clintons were sophisticated..." HAHAHAHAHA!
Of course, we Investigators knew it back in 2000. Just reading some of those threads gave me such pleasure all over again! LOL
Good morning.
Good morning. Chilly here...34 degrees.
Yes. It's much cooler here, too. Toward the end of the week it may look a little better.
Currently 46 degrees here w/a projected high of 66.......quite a difference from last Friday's 82 degrees. Dogwoods, red buds, and forsythia are blooming, so I'm not complaining....too much.
BBL. Taking Sarah to work.
A good thing about the cooler temperatures is that the blooms stay on the trees and shrubs longer. (As long as you don't get a really bad cold snap.)
From the looks of them yesterday, the peony plants must have grown a foot over the weekend. (I could barely see them the early part of last week). Irises coming in soon I hope. The Breath of Spring has been blooming since January...no roses blooming all year, however, like Toby's.
I put my tree roses in pots in my greenhouse last fall and have been watering them about every 3 weeks. I went out there last week and there was a HUGE rose on one of them..larger than a tennis ball!
Good morning!!
Oh, how I envy you that greenhouse! Having a huge rose now is a bonus for all your tender care. Thanks for telling me...I'm visualizing it now.....and remembering the heavenly rose smell. lol
