My favorite quote about Cynthia McKinney comes from Neal Boortz. I was driving down the road when he said it and nearly put the car in a ditch I was laughing so hard:

"You could take everything Cynthia McKinney knows about economics, shove it up her a$$ and would rattle around like a BB in a Volkswagon."

I'm of the opinion that "oldies" are the songs I listened to in high school. "Classic anything" is the stuff I listened to in middle school, when riding in Dad's pick-up truck.

"Vintage anything" is the stuff that I listened to in elementry school, learned to play on the piano, and really like.

Buncha punks at yahoo trying to pigeon-hole me into a genre. Punks.

As far as I'm concerned, the Beach Boys are former pop. Not that darn long ago. Current era, and all of that.

Grump.

If I could remember where I put my glasses, I would find my teeth, give 'em a call, and read 'em the riot act.

Did you ever wonder why with literally hundreds of thousands of Indians in the USA, European Plantaion Owners purchased slaves imported from Africa? The only good Indian is a dead Indian they said. Why didn't the plantations enslave the Indians?

Americans of European descent killed lots of Indians.. Indians were death marched them from the Smokey Mountains to the Southwestern territories. Those plantation owners did not enslave Indians who were living within hours of their plantations. They bought African slaves for the Carolina plantations while they death marched Indians from the same Carolinas to the west? Why do you think that was?

Yes, it's pretty good. I understand FOX carries it on Sundays for 4 hours, so I have to try and catch it, to see it from the beginning. I don't have everyone in place, so tonight it was kind of confusing. It's a government, CIA, FBI, sort of thing. People who've watched it from the beginning seem to like it.

I'll have to give it a try. The audio on the TV in the bedroom has gone on the fritz. It works but cuts in and out. It makes watching shows rather funky.

Spoke with the recruiter this AM. He was headed out to a MD appointment (He sounded like Darth Vader, underwater), and he sent me the score for the test that they paid for. I did well, for so many years away from Solaris. 3.5 out of a possible 4.0.

He was supposed to call me this afternoon, but I'm thinking that the MD probably sent him home.

It will work out. They thought enough of my resume to spend money on my testing, and he had several positions he wanted to discuss, over and above the original position.

I am living 100% on faith and the unasked for charity of others. And I have everything I need. And most of what I want. And this place is heaven compared to where I was at this time last year.

No complaints. I am blessed. Things will work out. I will continue to do my part, but HE has me in HIS hands.

The Indians knew the lay of the land and could escape the landowners. The Cherokees were marched from their homes to Oklahoma. They had learned to trust the whiteman, because until the whiteman found the Indians had better land than they did, the Indians were left alone. Those Indians even adopted some of the whiteman's ways, learned his language and one wrote the Cherokee language. Then as always happens, they were doublecrossed, their land was confiscated and the military was called in to take care of the matter. AND to think today we worry about offending the very people who have sworn to kill each and everyone of us. Times change.

During the War of Northern Aggression, the Cherokee nation along with the Seminoles (we think) seceeded along with the rest of us. There is a Declaration of Indian Succession from the Cherokees stating this and may also give authenticity to a positive relationship between Southerners and the American Indians.

It was the Yanks that didn't like the Indians. The Southerners and the Indians got along fairly well.

Living by faith is fine. I do it. However, I don't think God wants us to always be living on the very edge, day-to-day. Now, don't get technical on me, ultimately we are living by faith, moment-by-moment. I'm talking about the luxury of having a steady paycheck, at least for a while.

If you can't find your glasses to find your cane, I'll loan you mine, although it may be a little short for you.
Besides, I'll never call you old, mature, but never old.

That is the goal. I've researched and reverse engineered the resume scanning programs to get mine noticed by a human. I've adjusted and created several resumes to meet the requirements, and I've submitted for every open position within 100 miles of here.

I am on orders, and will have money coming in pretty soon.

I don't know what else I can do. I network, I apply, I accept low-wage stuff to get by... 12-14 hour days.

It's not so easy after you reach a certain age. But I expect to be in the top 5% that manage new employment after a certain age.

In fact. I need to get to bed, so I can be fresh at 0430 in the blessed AM.

Night all. God bless us all. Each, and every one.
