If even the Chronic pans your sex-saturated romp, you know it's gotta stink.
I have been saying it for so long that I sound like an old man saying it: The first Hollywood producer who comes to his senses and makes a John Wayne-type high-action war movie with no other message than "We are the unmistakable good guys, and our enemies are irredeemably evil" is going to have the highest grossing box office in history. He doesn't even need to believe what he's saying, and the critics will HATE it. But giving the people what they actually want is a no-brainer. If Jessica Alba had replaced Sharon Stone in this sequel, do you really think anybody would be complaining about the unoriginality?
