BTW--anyone know how I can restore USB and CD-RW support in Suse 10 (KDE 3.5.1), or how to set up ivman to properly detect my devices (autorun)?

Tried looking on numerous forums and sliced up my /etc/fstab (though I made a copy of the original and restored it through root)

I can read the Windows XP NTFS partition on my disk without a problem (/dev/hda1)

I lost it when I compiled the 2.6.16-default kernel. I have ivman (as recommended on numerous forums), but still can't get the devices to recognize.
