Thinking about gettin' me one of these.:)
My tulips are coming up nicely...so my experiment with spraying the bulbs with rodent repellent seems to have worked!
Now if the one variety actually blooms at the same time as the perennial alyssum planted in front of them I'll really be happy...that is in one bed...there are others planted elsewhere...
Yes!!
Oh Molly the sun is so pretty out there today! Yard work for sure. I need to work on my ugly hands project! I wear gloves for some work but the dirt seems to get in anyway. for a lot of thins gloves are just too awkward.
My daughter moved into a wonderful town house last July. 2 blocks from her daughters grade school. After Katrina hit, any empty townhouse was turned over to the evacuees. They literally took over the complex. 20 or more to a house. They had chairs and sofas outside in their yards. Congregate in the streets so a car couldn't even pass. It was horrible.
By Oct. my daughter couldn't allow her 3 children to play outside. There was gun fire every night and cops called every night. She packed up and moved to Katy. Further for her to drive, she works in Houston, but much better for the girls.
It was such a shame, the area had once been a great place to live.
Wasn't it you (or was it Lysie) that used to do all the custom shirts?
I recall when I first joined the ATRW thread & FR one of you I believe was doing that.
I have never made a shirt etc although I do have a box of the computer paper for it
Sad to hear that about Sugarland. I liked the area.
sounds like fun Prairie! have a great time. Lots of giggles & lots of good memories. I haven't played golf for ages. I got spoiled in the military in Panama.. could play the PGA course free if on the course by 6 AM.. and I did 18-27 holes each morning. It was a shock to return to US.. needless to say I didn't play 18 holes everyday after that!!!!
Oh no, Dolly that was Houston. She moved from Sugar Land to Houston last July. Sugar Land is still a great place to live.
thanks for clarification..
well, I NEED TO GET THE GARBAGE OUT NOW!!!! I think it is carolina whose garbage people come at 3 AM...my, that would be terrible. Here we have so much wildlife being contiguous to the national park that garbage out the night before would be all over the street, yard etc.
hi kassie!
I'm off to start my day. I have an appt at 8:30 with an Upholserer. And a Doc's appt at 1:00.
I may or MAY NOT be back between appts.
I'll catch you on the next thread.
