Saw the Larry the Cable Guy movie yesterday and liked it. One particular scene almost made me cry. So this morning I have been thinking of scenes which did make me cry...laughing. So, please help me out and share some scenes.

Get 'er done.

MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL: The knights attack a french castle only to be defeated by insults and catapulted farm animals.

BLAZING SADDLES: Cowboys sit arond the campfire eating beans. (I don't care who you are, that's funny.)

PORKY'S: Coach has sex with "Lassie" in the boys' locker room.

PORKY'S: Coaches sit in Principal's office as Buella Ballbreaker suggests a police line-up to find a mole on a boy's "tallywacker."

Funniest scene-

MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL: Arthur fights the black knight.

Is that the one where they conjugate latin verbs?

"...and missed about half of the gags."

That's what I'm talking about. Noted.

"All of Me" is the movie where Lily Tomlin and Steve Martin end up sharing his body. The scene when Tomlin comes careening into his body via a falling Tibetan "soul bowl", has to go down as one of the funniest slapstick comedy routines of all time.

"All of Me"

Was that the one where the dying woman's soul goes into Martin?

Anything with the Marx brothers---

MONKEY BUSINESS
HORSE FEATHERS
DUCK SOUP
A NIGHT AT THE OPERA

No one delivers lines like Groucho.

"Anything with the Marx brothers---"

That reminds me. One of the funniest TV scenes. Harpo and Lucille ball in the doorway.

Kinda of a sleeper - but very funny!

Yes indeed! The "Romans Go Home" Latin conjugation scene was hilarious. "How many Romans?!! Plural!! Now is it a request, or a command?!!..."

"Mirror in the Door" I think....

"Remember you're fighting for this woman's honor…which is probably more than she ever did."

Duck Soup, spoken by Groucho Marx

So many great comedians in "It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" and lines by Jonathan Winters: "Trying to Leave the Big Boy Behind HUH" or Buddy Hackett's "Not you, lady (to Ethel Merman), I just want you to DROP DEAD" or Phil Silvers taking over Don Knotts automobile "Don't just stand there, they'll see you" or the british actor Terri ? "This fellow's run completely amock"! Funny stuff and good physical comedy too...

Have you ever seen Fierce Creatures? Not quite as funny as Wanda, but it does have some hysterical moments . . .and lemurs.

I don't know if they would qualify in this thread - but many a ridiculous movie has been transformed into a comedy classic by the MST3K makeover.

That is one of my favorite movies!

I realize I like verbal humor. Physical is good too, but those who can play with words always make me laugh.
