Awwwww yeeeeeeah.... Tay-Tay gonna rock it out!

RE: PLAY THAT FUNKY MUSIC WHITE BOY

PREDICTIONS

1) Taylor WILL ROCK IT OUT, JUST YOU WATCH.

2) Simon is going to rip him for his drunk dancing again and for the song choice because he will say you can hear that in a hundred dance floors across the country.

Taylor's obvious response should be -- I'm doing this because my fans want me to, and making the fans happy is what it's all about.

3) Taylor should take Rod Stewart's advise to heart --- MOVE, SELL THE SONG, SHAKE IT OUT, that's what your fans love you for. Hold the audience by the b**lls ( as Rod himself would say ). And of course, Rod also did say this --- DON'T LISTEN TO SIMON. Wise advise from the performing master himself.

That WILL be a good song choice for Taylor. You know, Simon is being disingenuous when he says stuff like that to Taylor.

Okay, I love Kellie Clarkson, I love Carrie Underwood, then we had Ruben and Fantasia. The genre that Taylor comes from could be given new life, new exposure. I think people are thirsty for something different.

THAT'S how you market Taylor. He will be what hasn't been done before.

Go Taylor! I will be voting for him as usual.

I know that is wrong to vote premeditated like that. One is supposed to listen to them all and then judge who did best. But I always enjoy Taylor the most and I'd love to see him go far. Frankly, I don't recognize all these "pitchy" problems or getting ahead of the music. I tend to listen and just like the song or not. I did NOT like Taylor's last song. It was like work for me to listen but I still voted for him because he is my kind of person and I want him to succeed.

Taylor's song choices present an interesting paradox. Those that have heard his version of "Georgia On My Mind" are usually blown away by the performance: the vocals, the guitar and the harmonica. Yet when he sings a slow song on the show, people don't like it because he's not dancing like a drunk guy at a wedding. Many Soul Patrolers have begged for him to sing Georgia. What will the reaction be if he keeps the mic in the stand and just sings?
