I didn't realize that song was written in 1933! I'm only familiar with the Otis Redding version.
I have to imagine that song with it's slow build and ending with Taylor doing Otis' "You got-ta, got-ta, got-ta try a little tenderness!" would have blown the roof off.
I think so too. Isn't this the 2nd time recently Taylor wanted to do a song and for some reason it turned out he couldn't do his first choice?
