Looks like the Paris story may be untrue. Have not heard from Rodney personally yet, but he has posted a new Blog for discussion and does not mention the interview at all. It looks like anyone can spoof a name in the blog reply area since it is not a forum with registrations.

I'll update the full story when I get confirmation from Rodney.

Re Brian May's comments (and which one was he, anyway? The one with the long hair or the tie?) -- I totally believe him. I am completely sure that AI, like every other "reality" show around, goes for the jugular at every opportunity. If it makes good TV, they'll use it, whether it's accurate or not (as long as it's not so demonstrably INaccurate that they can get sued for it).

Disagree with him about Ace's rendition of it, though. I just think it's not his type of song. But even though I think that song was too much for him, Ace's vocal production WAS better than what I've heard him do in the last 3 or 4 weeks. So I hope he can keep that full-voice production instead of turning into a whiny-voiced wimp again. (I keep thinking of Mama Rose: "Sing out, Louise!!" Good advice, really ... LOL!)
