America loves a dumb blonde! Hey to Marilyn Monroe, Pam Anderson, Suzanne Summers, Christina Applegate (Married with Children character), Phoebe (Friends), et al. It's because blondes are seen as a privileged class (sure they're blonde, but they are dumb, too, so they don't have it all)-- it's reassuring for people who feel inferior-- and that blondes are seen as unattainable/out of our league and believing them dumb makes them more approachable and more attainable. It's pretty reasonable.

The ironic thing about Marilyn Monroe is she put brains over looks (nice way of saying she liked ugly guys).
Joe DiMaggio, I mean really, by any measuring stick -not a looker.
Arthur Miller wasn't as ugly as Joe and is the best looking of this bunch, but that's not saying much.
JFK, I don't know, maybe I am just too much of a dyed in the wool Republican, but he never did anything for me.
Then his brother, please, it's lunch time and I don't want to make anyone sick so I will just say he always looked like Abe Lincoln to me. Abe may have been a popular president, but I doubt he was popular with the ladies.

I, for one, do not think Taylor is unmarketable at all...Me either! What's wrong with something "different" at the music store? They must think that the only people who buy music are 15-27 years old. Taylor is sooooo talented, and he's not even my favorite! I look forward to anything he records in the future.

Do you or anyone have those pics of Ace when he was showing his scar? How about the ones where he is running his hands over his body?
Been through about 4,000 posts but can't seem to locate them.

I look forward to anything he records in the future. Me, too. I'm really looking forward to tonight. Hope we aren't disappointed. Not sure about any of the song spoilers.

(Just kidding! LOL!)

oh no RK, I loved it....especially watching Jerry Rice try to show some rythm....my fav was the first guy (from ESPN) who got kicked off....I just sat here and laughed. I'm hoping that there really is going to be a show pairing up non-sing celebs up with professional singers and teaching them to perform....that should be hysterical....what I haven't watched is the inventors one.....that didn't look like anything i could stand....

TV Guide channel just confirmed Chris' songs are Renegade and I Dare You.
To: retrokitten
Katharines songs are Against All Odds and Black Horse and the Cherry Tree. per TV guide channel.
To: BamaDi
Oh no, not that one! I heard that one is really entertaining. There is one on Fox. No celebs, unless you count the girl who hosted it who kind of looked like The Joker.
It is like AI except they take amateur dancers. I really wanted to like it. I tried. I just couldn't get into it.
