Much better choice as Thank God I'm a country Boy shows little vocal range.

Jonny, at least one person in the world bothered to get Jusin Guarini's autograph, and then was proud enough of that feat to post proof on the internet. (Justin who? Did you notice him in the audience last week? He stood up and fist-bumped with the fellow who sang with Shakira.)

Speaking of memorabilia:
There are 4 days & 5 hours left to bid on the TShirt that was donated to Kid One Transport of Birmingham, Alabama, by Taylor Hicks. It is signed by 15 of the American Idol Season 5 contestants.
As of now, the top bid is $1325.00!
100% of the auction will go to Kid One Transport which transports (of course) mothers and children to the doctor that have no way to get there otherwise.
IT is a GREAT organization and does a LOT of great work.
Please support Taylor and Kid One Transport, and at the same time, get a one-of-a-kind American Idol collectible.
Click Here to go to the auction!

Thought you might like to see this. A more human (non-screaming) side of Chris Daughtry ...
From a fan site called mrdaughtry.com
Baugh39: I took this picture at the Daughtry home on February 2, 2006. We all wanted to hang out with Chris, Deanna and family in their home before Chris left for Hollywood on February 10, 2006. chris is a great person and trusted and respected friend. Keep rockin' on the journey.Awesome Pic. Thank you for sharing. I bet when he took this pic he wasn't thinking that his life was about to change and what a journey that this was actually going to be. Let him know that he has much love and support here in FL. Keep it RoCkin Chris! Great job and can't wait to see him in concert
Baugh39: Actually, he did think that his life was getting ready to change. Because of the commercials showing him before the auditions even started, he was getting alot of "looks", questions, people showing up at the house, news interviews, etc. As soon as the Denver audition aired the attentioned tripled. He has handeled this attention very well. He appreciates your support.
Thanks for posting this. Do let him and his wife and family know that there are folks out there praying for the best for them. We hope they will be very blessed but protected from any negativity that make comes from the fame. We hope he wins (and vote lots for him every week)!
Baugh39: The family really appreciates your prayers and all prayers their way. So far they have been extreamly blessed through this whole situation. Keep your paryers going.

To me, the political atmosphere is like it was at the end of George H W Bush's term. There's a reason for that. The dems haven't updated their playbook since 1992.

Thanks, Jonny. We in the viewing audience only get to see glimpses of who these contestants really are. Nice to read about who Chris is behind the scenes. I'm still really, really hoping a guy will win this year. If it's Chris, I will support him.

Was he really there? I'm surprised they let him in the buildingLOL! Yeah, he was there. He looks very different from his days on AI, but even so, I'm surprised no one on this thread recognized him. (Well, I did, but I recorded the show and watched it long after you all had gone to bed, then forgot to comment the next day.)
Remember when the dude who was singing with Shakira went up on the riser behind the judges? Remember he did the fist bump with a guy in the audience? That was Justin. Interestingly, the AI director didn't flash his name on screen as they do for some of the former contestants.
