I don't remember who it was, but someone else was a big Chris Isaak fan. He's got a "Best Of" cd coming out on Tuesday!!
Constantine always creeped me out, but he looks ultra creepy in that picture.
Is that bottom one Hugh Hefner? Or just some other uber creepy old man?
I must have missed the pictures of Katherine with the creeps! I suspect they'll have you to answer to if they touch her! :)
The older guy looks like an extra from Godfather 2, Goodfellas, etc.
I think I read that the oldr guys is some fashion designer. Cavelli?
Mandisa has a gospel CD already done, but would not have qualified for American Idol if she had anything released. Now, she must also wait until the winner releases their first CD.
I think they have to wait 3 months after the winner releases theirs.
I think that TPTB, at least Cowell, were somewhat befuddled by Taylor's unexpected, and consistent, popularity. But these quirky things do happen periodically in pop culture, and they're going to take a look at T's "numbers" and general buzz, and go with that.So they probably won't mess with anything and will let him go right to the final two, to keep his audience "who can't wait to see what Taylor's going to do next" watching right to the end.
But will they give him the whole thing? I actually think they will. Taylor's great for the show. He draws in an audience now, and imagine the nut-jobs that will try out next year thinking they're going to be the next Taylor Hicks (with his "street cred" they may even get a better, more interesting, musical pool as well). Plus his numbers and word of mouth (already a bad impersonation on SNL?) must be telling them that he's the surest thing they have for a smash album. But if they do let him win, I imagine they'll even market it as unexpected under-dog triumph.
And Taylor is someone they can work with. He knows the game, smiles for the camera, does their stupid commercials and songs, and he does seem to want to win this thing. After he does the Idol thing, he'll have all the time, money, and opportunity to do whatever he wants to do musically and otherwise. I think he'll be smart enough to take the long term view on this, and use them to his own ends.
And the person they might really be using is Chris. Why else would they pump him up, knowing he can't beat Taylor's numbers? Maybe they were only out to massage a good guy/bad guy rivalry between the two?
Yes, although I'd be all over Katherine like spray paint so I'm not sure the poor girl would be any better off.
That cherry tree number she did really did a number on me. I'm actually contemplating taking box drum lessons.
But she's smiling til it hurts for the cameras.
Milk it for all it's worth, girl!
(No, I haven't heard that the Pickle has a gherkin in the jar!)
thanks so much.
I caught Ace on Greta last night. What a genuinely nice young man. He sure is rooting for Elliott. He had so many nice things to say about everyone. No sour grapes there!
That Kelli sure gets around. Whatta gal!
I hope she doesn't end up getting used and abused, like so many other Hollywood blondes.
Good luck finding a box drum instructor!! LOL
Isn't that weird how both those guys are touching her abdomen?
Ace seemed like a very sweet guy. I also wondered if perhaps he and Greta knew each other prior to last night's interview. They both seemed really relaxed and comfortable with each other.
Yes it is.
The pose strikes me as very possessive, and intimate.
Weird and creepy. But what do I know about Hollyweird!!
Its going to take more than luck for these hands to end up on Katherine's glorious body.
In the meantime I'll just have to enjoy the feeling of the pause button on the DVR.
RUMOR
copied from another board
"It was announced (leaked) on Ryan's radio program AND the Psychic Idol Network. Ok, here you go- Chris will be doing "A Big Hunk O'Love" and "Memories", Taylor is doing "Guitar Man" and "You Gave Me A Mountain"; Elliott- "Love Me Tender" and "Teddy Bear", and Kat is doing "Can't Help Fallin' In Love" and "Always On My Mind"."
Re Constantine: I thought he was very talented, and seemed like a very nice young man, though I didn't much care for his hair style. Others here, however, thought he was totally untalented and didn't like the Svengali-like stare that he sometimes gave the cameras. I thought he did an amazing job when he sang "Bohemian Rhapsody," but others here characterized it as screeching and out of tune. As you can see, opinions differ. :)
