Seabiscuit ought to do some Gospel Elvis, and bring down the house on Simon's head.

Simon may be very surprised as I think he has been this season. He may lead us to believe that he knows what's going to happen, but I think some things have caught him off guard.

What a wonderful post! Thank you!

I would like to see Elliott WOW us with some Elvis songs we just didn't know were in him! I would also like to think that we're not down to this being a beauty contest. You're right, there is a TRUE gentle-man inside Elliott. His actions speak volumes. He knows it is an honor just to be in the competition. After all who auditioned, to find himself among the final 4, I think no one is more surprised or humbled than Elliott himself. His consistent improvement while tackling the most difficult of songs is amazing based on the obstacles he has overcome (his hearing loss). If America would dwell on this more, I think the choice of our next American Idol would be an obvious one.

Thanks - you helped me to tweak it up to what I wanted it to be about, and I sent it off to a few places today.

I am freepmailing you the final version so as not to bore everyone here with my editing.

That's a great letter to the Richmond Times.

I admire Elliott because I also know what it is like to live with a hearing disability.

That he can sing so well and hardly ever hit a false note is amazing to me.

And without years of study at a fancy Conservatory!

It's nice to see this guy has such a good attitude; still busy and happy.

Simon's "act" is all part of the show IMHO!

He seems like such a nice guy. Sounds like he's really pulling for Elliot but very complimentary towards Taylor and Chris.

Ace:"Who knows,Taylor might end up standing on the judges table singing" LOL

I'm pulling for Elliott, too. That young man has a lot of heart.

Speaking of Elliott, does anyone know how long AI keeps them tied up and unable to record with someone?

I know they have a tour this summer. After that, are they under contract for any length of time or unable to sign with someone for a time period?

I am not referring to a winner or runner-up..

Since I was making the comparison for the letter, I thought it was funny you said this. There's a quote about Seabiscuit (movie) that is nearly identical. "Well I just think this horse as a lot of heart".

Apple Blossom, I dodn't think your hope that Eliot can win is impossible.

Here's why....all of those who remain have a real large negative quotient. Eliot's "negatives" keep going down as people get to know more about him and see what a class act and talennt he is.

If Eliot lasts this week, and he could, if Paris voters mostly just plain can't stand Katerine and vote for Eliot, that top three is funny. I'm not sure either Chris or Taylor gain career-wise by being the Idol. Maybe at that point their fans will begin to see that, and say let Eliot have it, and vote for him.

Not a highly likely scenerio, but not impossible. After all, no one expected Eliot to get this far.

It wouldn't be Hollywood without all that feel-copping.

Hopefully Constant-Teen and that mafioso didn't deflower Katherine's glorious body with their filthy paws.
