Right now, "Star Trek" is really in need of some revitalization. Agreed!!!! Have any ideas?

I thought Batman Begins was just ok. I still feel there are too many batman movies, and too many batmans. That's the biggest problem for me.
To: pcottraux
Yep. Firefly should be ressurected. So should Space Above and Beyond. Both VERY good but were cancelled after only one season.

Well for starters....
I think it's lost some suspense. I mean for crying out loud, how many times has this happened...
The shields are down! Oh, no! The bad guys are attacking and blasting them with some sort of lasers. So the shields are down and need to recharge. So they have to wait for them to recharge while they get hit by the enemy. Blam! Blam! Sparks fly everywhere. It shakes and they all fall out of their seats.
In the future, they seem to have not fully comprehended the concept of "seat belts."

"Batman Begins" was so UNBELIEVABLY different from the last Batman films, in my mind those movies are all past distant memories and the new ones rock, man!
Remember, "Begins" is a whole new movie series. It has nothing to do with the past ones. And to me, Christian Bale is the best Batman, no question.

Space battles are more like submarine battles. And there are restraints because of the massive G-forces from combat maneuvering.
"Two missiles, bearing 183 by 42. 40,000 yards."
"Fire decoys. Evasive maneuvering."
"Missiles ignored decoys!"
"Double back around the decoys. Act as though we are protecting them."
Confirm. Missiles hit the decoys."
"Lock onto that infrared signature and fire tuebs one through four."
"Missiles away."

Cool. There seems to be some real strategy involved there.

There has to be. Missiles/Torpedoes generally have nuclear warheads because the ships are big and built with materials that can survive even a collision with a small asteroid.

Really? I thought Christian was really mediocre. Oh well. To each his own I guess.
I just rented Sin City. See that one? Curious to know what you think about it.
To: Maximus_Ridiculousness
I haven't seen it...Christian Bale hater.

Though I've heard it's a pretty gritty, intense film.
Seeing the trailers, I absolutely love the visual look of it.

The movie is very interesting. It is extremely violent but still very good. The visial style is asolutly amazing. The uncut version is worth the price if you intend to buy it.
