Heard it (partially) last night on air and confirmed it this AM with a call to the WTAM 1100AM Newsroom.

Springer is G-O-N-E! (As of this coming Monday)

Wonder if this is isolated or he's dead nationwide?

Isn't he all that was "carrying" Airhead America as well?

I listened to Glenn Beck before WTAM replaced him. He was very friendly w/FReepers before the war..the Rallies for America had huge FReeper presence.. that is how I found FRee Republic as a matter of fact in March 2003..

It is possible many of the "in your face" one-issue FReepers have been all over him for something.

I simply haven't listened to his show so don't know. I recall liking him for most but sometimes he would go off the wall & even I didn't chose to keep the radio on. I am glad we have a variety of types of shows. They all can't be Rush or Tony Snow.. with the different personalities & styles there is someone to appeal to most conservatives.

I think I viewed about 15 seconds on TV once & about the same amount of time on morning on radio when I turned on radio & it was still on WTAM from day before & Rush..

At first I thought it was a sub for Laura (during her cancer treamtement time) .. don't know his voice but when the lib message vomited forth, I knew I had the wrong station w/o looking.

This is indeed good news. It is bad enough that Springer pollutes the Television airwaves with his brand of refuse.

Hope they come up with a good replacement. Bringing back Glen Beck would be OK with me. But I have been listening to him anyway on Ashtabula 970.

I suggest moving elsewhere.

Here in Colorado for instance, if you don't want to listen, you're allowed to turn the radio off.

Just switch your dial to 640AM (WHLO - AKRON) for Rush when Indians are on.

1420 AM for Conservative talk radio as well.

I can pick up Quinn & Rose on my drive in to work, (but not very well), and I thought Beck was on WHLO after them, was not sure. I posted a statement from a googled search about Glenn Beck on 640, must have been old information~~~sorry about that!

FYI: Rush is on a two hour delay from 660AM out of Sandusky Michigan, sometimes NYNY radio overpowers the Michigan station.
