Hubby was rambling incessantly on the phone. I congratulated him on having a good time. (I told him that he needed a night out to drink and be merry for all his hard work.) No designated driver needed, thankfully, the restaurant was within walking distance from the hotel he's staying at.

Lucky bastard's in Palm Springs at a tennis event, hosting a booth for his civilian job. He said it's warm and sunny and he gets to wear shorts. Here I am stuck with Scary Tree, the wind, rain, and an artic thunderstorm headed this way right now. (yiippeee.) :P
