We bought a Cuisinart coffee maker at the missions auction last year. It would grind and make the coffee on a timer. Probably about $100 new. We spent more since it was at the auction.

In theory we loved it. But about half the time the tray with the filter would pop out. We'd end up with grounds in the coffee, or once or twice, all the coffee on the floor.

When it did that the first time on thenewfloor, we chucked it.

So we're just using a cheap one that we bought last summer for the apartment in Kentucky.

This is the one we have. It also comes in black. Interestingly, there is another, made by the same company, which looks identical except that it has a thermal carafe.

Yeah, our Cuisinart started doing that incontinence thing. I'd set it up at night, then put a towel on the counter in front of it, just in case. We got tired of fooling with it and bought the Zojirushi, and haven't had one bit of trouble with it! We kept the carafe from the other one, though.
