Remember that job possibility I mentioned?
....I was pulled into the HR Manager's office this morning and told that the company president is very excited about the idea of me working remotely. I should expect a meeting with him soon regarding the details. I don't want to get my hopes up TOO high, but it's really starting to look like it will happen!
Prayers appreciated. :-D

Thanks so much! I'm trying not to act ~too~ happy or folks'll get suspicious. ;-)

Ruthy ...
So does this mean you'll be working remotely when you get to WA? Or while you're still in FL?
To: Rose in RoseBear
....In WA. They'd let me do ~exactly~ what I'm doing now, retaining my same client base - but processing from my home in WA. :-)

I'm blind in my left eye so I kinda sympathize with him. There's been some discussion of removing the eye if it becomes unhealthy or he injures it... He doesn't have a blink reflex in that eye if he bumps into something, but so far it doesn't seem to cause him any problems. :~D

More from the multi-act saga that is my life ...
So this morning I went in to theoldjob and personally thanked the lady who hired me (and got her to sign my time sheet). I went to theoldcontractor and thanked them in person (and turned in my time sheet).
I took the phone interview with the lady who called me Friday afternoon. I think it went well; she promised me she'd call me back tomorrow by noon and let me know one way or another.
An hour later, I was sitting here FReeping when the phone rings. It's a State agency, a division of the State Health Department that works with the physically challenged. They wanted to know if I was still interested in a desktop support job I'd applied for a couple of weeks ago. I'm interviewing with them tomorrow at 11am.
The rain is fine so far ...!

Dang, girlfriend! That's the way to work it!
And completely transparent to the customer! And much better for the customer, since you don't have to stress about traffic and daycare and long hours away from home!
Just make sure they don't take advantage of your being at home to pile on more clients ... you'll be working through the night if you don't watch it.
