Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Through shadows to the edge of night
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

I was hoping you would :~D I'm really starting to feel punky. Did you have these symptoms? Yours seemed nasal, and mine's not... Wonder if it's the same thing or somethin' new.
Becky recommended Cold-Eeez cough drops - but neither of us are sure how to spell it.
I'm kindof craving orange juice. I always drink juice when I'm sick.
I've already drank a little bottle of Robitussin I got next door... maybe they have a bigger bottle at Mega Foods? I got the 'cough' kind... I want one that says it's an expectorant.

Wife and I swear by this stuff...

You can get the kind where you actually stick it up yer nose (I can't stand it). Or you can get the stuff you spray in your mouth and throat.
Between that and the flu shot, I haven't had, or kept a cold/flu all season.
'course I just jinxed that...

Sure thing. I'll stop at Mega Foods and get some stuff. My symptoms ended up being mostly in the sinuses, but I started out feeling feverish, chilled and achy on Friday night/Saturday morning.
Still feel like having teriyaki tonight, or should we save that till you're feeling better? I'll pick up some chicken soup at the store too.

I think the Teriyaki sounds good, but if you're already at Mega Foods maybe something from there would be just as good.
Hate to make ya run around... we got new SP disk here at home.

I wouldn't like the stuff in my nose either.

Some people have lost their sense of smell permanently from using the spray.
Cold-Eeze lozenges are excellent. They're a dose, though...not a cough drop. You take them as directed like a dose of medicine.

Well, I guess you could. Probably just pee it right down the toilet.
:-)
It kinda screws up your taste buds for a bit...the zinc messes that up. But it wears off. Just let it dissolve slowly and follow the directions on what not to drink within a half hour or so and take it at regular intervals. I really believe it works and as a nurse, I'm usually skeptical about "supplements".

*snicker*
Well, I'm home, too. There was absolutely nothing to do, I was way not motivated, and I'm really tired and stupid and have cramps. Guess I can work on that calligraphy project instead. Or sleep.

So...what are you subconsciously worried that the apartment folks will discover?
Urgh...convoluted sentence, that.
Did I mention my brain isn't firing on all cylinders right now?
