Through shadows to the edge of night

Upon the hearth the fire is red,

Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone

Tree and flower and leaf and grass,

Home is behind, the world ahead,

~sigh~ I'm already dreading the months between this visit and my move.Don't dread it... it's really a fun twitterpating time :~D
When ecurbh and I went back to chat after smoochmoot, it was a wonderful, impatient, exciting, anticipatory time... lots of butterflies and all that, but as the Billy Joel song goes, "This is the time to remember, cuz it will not last forever". We lived that. Because that feeling of utter excitement doesn't last forever... before you know it... the idea of reaching out and touching isn't such a big deal... and he's more likely to be scratching himself than giving you butterflies. :~D It's all well and good when it's become routine and normal years from now... but the kind of excitement we have at the beginning is wonderful agony. :~D

Movin' Out tomorrow night.
Mrs. and I had a long distance engagement. It weren't clear across county, but it was back in the dark ages when people actually talked on ~land lines~. [shudder]
