Well, there's a lot of enjoyment in dog showing... Is she judging or showing this weekend?
Is your sister's balance trouble related to the car accident?
Sounds like it was a bad one, for both of them.
She's not going anywhere this weekend but she's going to the Weimeraner National next week to observe and judging a show in New Orleans the weekend after that. I don't think she really shows anymore. You've really got to be able to move out to keep up with an Irish and she just can't do that. Her balance problem is related to the accident too. She and her husband got t-boned by another car, right in my sister's door and she got a head injury to the right side of her brain, which affected the left side of her body, as well as her short-term memory. Her memory is back to fairly normal, but the left leg control is still not good. Her personality changed quite a bit too.
Hello,
Well I went to the doctor this morning, my wrist had me up all night.
I have a bone chip, H said give it a week of doing nothing and it should start to heal. He put a splint on it. If that doesn't work it may need surgery.
It probaby started as a hairline fracture, but yesterday I reinjured it yesterday I know when, stretching Harley, Thats why it flaired up so.
typing 1 handed, sorry for the errors.
Becky
What kinda dogs did you used to show?
I am showing. Taking 3 of my own dogs and will be showing 4 dogs for others, helps pay for my trip. We are going to tour on Monday, probably Mackinaw Island, Tuesday we will groom during the day and attend a health seminar at night. Wednesday starts judging that lasts through Saturday then Sunday I will head home. Going to be a looooong drive to do myself on Sunday after such a long weekend. 15 hours! Next year we will be in Tampa, FL and the following year somewhere in AZ.
