This reminds me of something my two geldings are doing. My husband had to have surgery on his foot a week ago and has had one of those orthopedic boots on. Well it has been so wet and muddy here lately he ties a Wal-Mart bag over his foot and tromps on down to the barn. The two boys start to hopping and bucking and acting like my husband is some sort of monster that is going to eat them alive. Queen the old mare could care less and just watches them make fools of themselves. Blade is pretty bomb proof and Jake is a really laid back horse too and normally a bag would not scare them in the least but tied to a foot scares the daylights out of them.
Heh... well, my horse Bay thinks I will one day kill him with a plastic bag, so he'd have been among those hopping and snorting at that. :~D I scared the daylights out of Bay one just by wearing a noise rain slicker.
I was washing my gelding down yesterday. They have been running new pipe so I went to the hose behind the stalls where this crazy stallion lives. My horse is used to him and he's never got out so even though I kind of look at the walls bowing, he just ignores him. Yesterday he looked over though and jumped and looked at me , like "what is it? ". So....I took him to check out the new stallion who is probably less than 3 feet tall. It was like, ",ok, I'm here but I don't like minis. Can we go now?" Funny guy.
