This is a horse chat thread where we share ideas, ask for input from other horsemen, and talk about our riding and horse-keeping. We have a lot of different kinds of riders and horses, and a lot to share. In the previous threads we have had a great time talking through lessons, training, horse lamenesses, illnesses and pregnancies... and always sharing pictures and stories.
I always have a link to this thread on my profile page, so if you have something to say and can't find the thread in latest posts… look for it there and wake the thread up!
I also have a ping list for horse threads that are of interest, and MissTargets will now be pinging everyone most mornings. Let MissTargets and/or me know if you would like to be on the ping list. As FreeRepublic is a political site, our politics and other issues will probably blend in…. There are many issues for horsemen that touch politics… land use, animal rights/abuse cases that make the news…. Legislation that might affect horse owners.
So... like the previous threads, this is intended as fun place to come and share stories, pictures, questions and chit-chat, unguided and unmoderated and that we come together here as friends. There are lots of ways of doing things and we all have our quirks, tricks and specialties that are neat to learn about.

Duh, I had a brain fart:)
I noticed that truck looking like that too. When I got close I realized the front tires are drove up on blocks to level the camper....I forgot about that till I just now went back and looked at it.

It's mostly just his seasonal color change.... If you didn't look at him for a season, you'd never find him in a group!
OK, I was just checking. Yes that is what it is. I thought it pretty cool once I figured out what it was:)

Ah - well, that makes me feel a little better about that truck.
But did you see the woman in the tack room?
I was looking at those two pictures again. I just didn't realize he changes so much. But look at the spots on his hips. You can see every one of them in the new picture, but you can't see them either:). I've been asked several times when he looks like the top picture if he had App in him. No one ever noticed the spots this weekend.

NO:). I can see where the blankets look like hair, but I don't see anything else that suggests a face:)
Have you ever looked at those pictures that you stare at a certain thing and something shows up....I've only managed to see the hidden pictures one time in one, and it took me forever. We were somewhere buying a car or something so I had nothing to do but stare at the picture while Mack haggled:).

I own one of those pictures...it's in my bathroom. I've NEVER seen the image, it's supposed to be dolphins. I think people are making it all up :~D

I thought that too, till I finally started seeing it. My kids could see it right off, and told me where to look and what to look for, once I saw it, it was really really cool.
What are those things called, I've wondered before if there was any on the internet to look at.

I thought it might say on the bottom of your picture what they are called. They're call something...holo....something.
Ever since I could figure that one out, I've wanted to see another and never have. That was years ago tho....

I tried to search on something like hologram, but that's not right, that's something else. I'm stumped.
I'm not good with those pictures. I think it's a concerntration thing. I stare and don't see anything and then I will just glace and notice.
Second place in English showmanship with 8 in the class
Sixth place in Western Showmanship with 11 in class. These classes were all 11 and under. That is her, number 47. The bay horse beside her rolled in the ring. I am surprised the judge placed her fifth.
Western Pleasure, she got a 5th out of 14. We were really proud of that. Old Andy does a great job.
Coming out of the ring with her ribbon. My daughter beside Alison, and Son-in-Law kidding around with the kid who trained Biscuit. My daughter was so sun burned, from two days of horse shows, that she had to put a long sleeved shirt on. It was just too hot to stay for trail class.
She is absolutely the cutest thing I ever did see in her little English togs :~D
With big riders in there, I might add! Great job :~D
